This article will explain how to add a bus to the list from scratch.<\/p>\n

For example, we will add a bus to this route. New York, NY -> New Jersey, NJ-> Virginia, VA.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The bus stops\/boarding points are:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. New York, NY
    \n<\/strong>– Alfred Station, NY (Boarding Point\/Bus Stop)
    \n– Binghamton, NY (Boarding Point\/Bus Stop)
    \n<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. New Jersey, NJ
    \n<\/strong>– Atlantic City, NJ (Boarding Point\/Bus Stop)\u00a0
    \n<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Virginia, VA
    \n<\/strong>– Bristol, VA (Bus Stop)\u00a0
    \n<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Step-1: <\/strong>Let’s create a bus type first.<\/p>\n

    1. AC<\/strong><\/li>\n
    2. Non AC<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      To create a bus type, go to Bus-> Bus Type<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      Step-2: <\/strong>We will create Bus Stops\/Boarding Points now. Go Bus-> Bus Stops<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      Step-3:<\/strong> We will add a bus now. Go Bus-> Add New Bus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      For example, we named the bus Flix Bus AC<\/strong>. You can select the\u00a0Bus Featured Image<\/strong> from the right sidebar.<\/p>\n

      Step-4:<\/strong> Now, we’ll set up the bus configuration. Click on the Bus Configuration<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n

      Under Bus Configuration, we will set:<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Coach No.<\/strong><\/li>\n
      2. Bus Type<\/strong><\/li>\n
      3. Enable\/Disable Bus Reservation<\/strong><\/li>\n
      4. Total Seat<\/strong><\/li>\n
      5. Seat Type<\/strong><\/li>\n
      6. Lower Deck Seat Plan<\/strong><\/li>\n
      7. And Upper Deck Seat Plan:
        \n<\/strong>It is optional.
        \n<\/strong><\/li>\n
      8. Price and Routing Settings<\/strong><\/li>\n
      9. Extra Service<\/strong><\/li>\n
      10. Show dropping time:<\/strong>
        \nSelect Yes<\/strong> to show dropping time.<\/li>\n
      11. Same Bus return:<\/strong>
        \nSince the bus\u00a0 Flix Bus AC will return to New York on the same day, we will select the Yes <\/strong>button.<\/strong><\/li>\n
      12. Date Settings<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          General Settings<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          \"Bus<\/p>\n

          Under the General Info<\/strong> Tab, you can add the Bus no, select Coach Type either as AC or Non AC from the drop down and enable or disable\u00a0 reservation.<\/p>\n

           <\/p>\n

          Step-5:<\/strong> Then, we’ll set up Routing<\/strong>. Click on the Routing<\/strong> tab. Routing is an essential setting. A slight mistake will cause not appearing this bus on the search list.<\/p>\n

          Here we’ll add:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            \n
          1. Boarding Point and Dropping Point with time(24-hour<\/strong> format is allowed).
            \nNote:<\/strong> Boarding points and Dropping points have come from Bus Stops<\/strong> categories. You must match the sequence between the boarding points and dropping points. See how we have done in the screenshot. Otherwise, this bus will not appear on the search list.<\/li>\n
          2. As we selected, this bus will return in the Bus Configuration <\/strong>setting; we<\/strong> have set up the Return Route<\/strong> as we have done in the screenshot.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Step-6:<\/strong> Now, we’ll set up Seat Pricing<\/strong>. Click on the Seat Price<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n

            Here, we’ll add up:<\/p>\n

              \n
            1. Seat price:<\/strong>
              \n– Adult Price(Mandatory)
              \n– Child Price(Optional)
              \n– Infant Price(Optional)<\/li>\n
            2. Return Seat price:<\/strong>
              \n– Adult Price(Mandatory)
              \n– Child Price(Optional)
              \n– Infant Price(Optional)<\/li>\n
            3. Extra Service:
              \n<\/strong>– You can offer extra service to passengers, like Coffee.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Step-7: <\/strong>Now we’ll set up pickup points. Pickup points present extra options to choose a specific location to enter the bus under a boarding point.\u00a0 At first, we will add a few pickup points for Alfred Station<\/strong> from Bus-> Pickup Points<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

              These are:<\/p>\n

              1. Belmont Road, Alfred Station<\/strong><\/li>\n
              2. Clark Road, Alfred Station<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                Now we’ll set up Pickup Points<\/strong>. Click on the Pickup Points<\/strong> tab. Add a boarding point from the left side dropdown. You will see a table with pickup points and times. We have set the pickup point and times. See screenshot.<\/p>\n

                Step-8: <\/strong>Now we’ll set up Bus Onday & Offday. By default, Onday-Offday comes from Bus Global Settings<\/strong>. If you want to set Onday & Offday at different times, you can do it from here. See screenshot:<\/p>\n

                Step-9: <\/strong>Now, we’ll set up the Registration Form<\/strong>. This is PRO<\/strong> feature. If you want to add a custom field in the passenger details form, you can use this feature. See screenshot:
